PlatinumGames’ NEO-CLASSIC ARCADE series keeps alive the spirit and fun of classic gaming through modern technologies, and the first project in the series can be described as Sol Cresta. Sol Cresta uses the same form and docking techniques that were used in Terra Cresta’s classic shooter Moon Cresta. It also features the latest “free-form docking system”. Based upon the triangulation of three ships, the flagship Yamato (Amaterasu as well as Tsukuyomi) is able to use a variety of methods of attack. The docking, the splitting and restructuring the ships when are required is key to defeating the armies of Mandler.
