Front Mission 1st Remake Game Review

In 2090, all conflicts in the world are being fought using giant war machines called Wanzers. Huffman Island, the only island where you can find the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) as well as the Unified Continental States (U.C.S.) The border between Canada and The United Continental States (U.C.S.) and Canada is one of the areas of intense tension.

A O.C.U. A reconnaissance platoon under Captain Royd Clive was designated to investigate the U.C.S. munitions plant. It is the U.C.S. attack them. They are ambushed by U.C.S. They are ambushed by Wanzers. This sets off a chain of events which plunges all of the island into conflict. Royd’s fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.

After being discharged from the military, Royd is determined to find out the events that took place to Karen. He discovers he is getting more in the right direction and the people responsible.

With hundreds of characters to meet, its mature story with non-Manichean heroes, Front Mission is one of the best examples of the strategic Japanese RPG genre, finally available worldwide.
